This is an article from the 5 Aug 1966 Columbia Missourian that says the MU rule about women not being allowed to wear pants or slacks unless the temperature was below 10 degrees was being relaxed. I started attending MU in 1964 and remember buying a full length wool coat to wear around campus to keep warm. This was also the era of mini-skirts. It is hard to believe that mini-skirts were accepted on campus but slacks were not.
