The annual per-pupil spending for K-12 education in Minnesota is approximately $18,057 per child. That means that Minnesota tax payers spend at least $109 Million per year to educate Somali students. Just the annual cost of education ($109M) alone for the education of K-12 Somali students isn’t offset by Somalian taxpayers ($67M).
